This particular features an amazing pool area designed with beautiful and low-maintenance landscaping elements to improve the overall visual experience of the space. Many quality, native plant materials were chosensuch as colorful ornamental grasses and fragrant flowering shrubsexhibiting continuity with the natural feel we were striving for, while also being very much resilient to Nashville's ever-changing weather. The use of natural stone pathway materials allows for a continuous transition to the pool without compromising the elegance of modern landscaping, carrying on the formality of the architecture of the house. An existing challenge for this was the extreme change in grade from the house to the pool. The team leveled the area around this pool, added in retaining walls to address some maze of drainage terrain issues, and tiered planting beds filled colorful perennials to add visual fields of interest into the design of the planting beds. The use of permeable pavers for the patio area improves how water moves through the overall site and provides the most beautiful area to relax and enjoy quality time spent with family and friends. The Poolside Oasis is a beautiful outdoor space that the client was thrilled with.
