Residential by Breath Of Spring Landscaping We are thrilled to share our most recent residential , a landscaping job in the beautiful community of Rye Brook. The design challenge was to take a typical backyard and convert the space to create an outdoor living space for a family. Our approach created a well-designed outdoor space that came together for function with natural beauty. This included an array of features, including a custom stone patio made out of local bluestone, which was a great space for family gatherings and outdoor dining. We surround the patio with a varied selections of native plants, from ornamental grasses, to native perennials to enhance both the beauty of the new space and native biodiversity. This included adding a soothing water feature, which had a gentle fall from the source, that created a focal point for the that soothed the senses and drew in wildlife. One of the challenges was the slope of the site. Our team was able to meet this challenge by creating tiered garden beds. The tiered beds added some visual interest while improving drainage. This improved plant health since we were able to plant plants in the optimal conditions for all the plants to thrive in our finished habitat. Our finished is breathtaking. The homeowners are excited their new space and it has become a personal retreat for them! The appeal of the surroundings and functionality of the space provides comfort for their family and an entertaining space for family and friends, for many seasons to come.
