Summary: Hardscape/Masonry by Breath Of Spring Landscaping Breath Of Spring Landscaping recently completed an exciting hardscape and masonry , shaping an outdoor space for a client to be an inspiring and functional place. Serving the beautiful communities of Eastchester, Greenwich, Harrison, and beyond, our focus has always been high quality craftsmanship and unique design while delivering on the homeowner's vision. This hardscape combined countless pieces of natural stone and pavers, all sourced for their durability and benefits to the outdoor space. A new multi-level patio space was built for the homeowner to seamlessly entertain and enjoy outdoor living space in the rear yard. Additionally, we strategically designed in a custom-built stone fire pit that creates a centerpiece and seating area, which draws owners and guests to cozy up and enjoy evenings under the stars. One of the notable challenges we faced were site dimensions, having the site slope out and back toward the house and street. As a result, the grade had to be cut out carefully and retaining walls had to be built in. Our skilled masons were able to tackle this challenge by implementing a terraced series of hardscape elements and natural landscaping that enhanced the yard natural beauty while enabling first pass erosion control. We also designed planting beds around the hardscape space. With native plants, in addition to other hardy species, we were able to keep with the hard materials, while also promoting local variety. Lastly, we finished the space with ambient lighting to highlight the incredible masonry work and illuminate the overall entertaining space in the evening. The clients couldn't be happier! The outdoor space was transformed into a beautiful, enjoyable part of their home. Through dedication to our trade, we were fortunate enough to deliver on a hardscape their family could use, and enjoy for many years to come!
