Dry Stacked Wall by Aureli Landscaping & Custom Stone Work Aureli Landscaping & Custom Stone Work is thrilled to showcase the 'Dry Stacked Wall' , a beautiful transformation located in the heart of Rochester. This wall provides both beauty and functionality to the property, beautifully complementing the surrounding landscape. Constructed of local sandstone, each stone was meticulously placed by our talented artisans to create a timeless dry stack (without mortar) that emanated rustic charm and craftsmanship. The work all took place on an uneven site, presenting our crew with a challenge that we were able to navigate. Not only did we level the site, we reinforced the structure, allowing the wall to gracefully appear within the surrounding garden elements. The wall serves as both a visually interesting matter, but also provides essential functionality, supporting the soil and guiding water during heavy rains. To compliment the stone, we included native plants and ornamental grasses, adding to the overall landscape, and promoting area biodiversity. The result is a beautiful dry stacked wall that delighted our customer and worked seamlessly within the existing environment.
