About This Project

Sit & Stay A While Land Design Associates, Inc. is excited to introduce the landscaping Sit & Stay A While in beautiful Newtown. The goal was to develop a peaceful outdoor retreat that balanced visual appeal with function just right for relaxation and entertaining. The included a large yard and required a thoughtful design that included various elements. We starting the with the installation of a custom stone patio utilizing locally sourced bluestone. Bluestone provides elegance and durability. Next we introduced a variety of native perennial plantings such as brilliant daylilies and fragrant lavender to create seasonal color and local pollinator attraction. Within the , a beautiful pergola, constructed of pressure-treated cedar was included providing not only interest but also a shaded, relaxing space. To continue the evening ambiance, we included well-placed LED lighting, assisting in a seamless straightening from day to evening. One of the key challenges of the was the slightly designed, uneven terrain of the area. After grading the yard to accommodate a tiered garden, for additional assessment and safe space. The garden not only enhanced the visually but encouraged a natural flow throughout the landscaping construction. The final outcome is enhancing the clients' ability to 'Sit & Stay A While', tuned and balance of all functions and nature a more natural finish to their beautifully detailed garden. The satisfaction and excitement of the outcome is a function to our contractor quality and dedication to customers' satisfaction.
