About This Project

On The Lake in Lake Oswego 'On The Lake in Lake Oswego' was a great collaboration with The White Pear LLC, Design & Build and is a great example of our dedication to quality landscaping and innovative building. Located on the lakeside of Lake Oswego, this was an ordinary backyard into an incredible outdoor space. Our talented team overcame challenges, such as the slope of the yard and existing materials that were to be mitigated. The entire backyard was conceived using tiered walls of natural stone, not just to help facilitate structural integrity, but also to enhance the botanical beauty of the landscape. Local basalt was used to give a rustic aesthetic while controlling the durability of this landscape. The 's design features a fully-customized patio comprised of superior quality pavers that allowed for a seamless transition into nature. This new space, after all, is an outdoor living space and features a custom-designed, hand-crafted fire pit; luring sleeping guests to stay longer while roasting marshmallows by the water. Native and drought-resistant plants and shrubs were chosen and installed to promote sustainability while adding splashes of color and texture from season to season. We purposely maintained the views of the lake by implementing low-maintenance ornamental grasses to help frame the landscape while maintaining the sightlines. This gesture only adds to the exceptional quality of nature itself. The result is a landscape that is stunning, both achieving the client's vision and exceeding it. The spirit of the landscape is inviting and offers users a space they can enjoy year-round due to design, care, and quality materials. Our clients were giddy with the landscape and excited for their new outdoor space for relaxing and entertaining.
