Poul's Landscaping & Nursery, Inc. is proud to announce the completion of our Custom Patio , a spectacular outdoor transformation in Arlington Heights that changed the outdoor living experience for our clients. The scope of this consisted of designing and building a custom patio that effectively blends function and visual beauty for a wonderful family gathering and entertaining space. To begin with, our team faced the challenge of installing a patio within a sloped back yard which would require unique engineering solutions to level the planned area for the patio. Our team selected and installed high-quality, locally sourced natural stone for the flooring that is not only durable but also visually appealing and timeless, alongside the landscape surrounding the space. In addition, the chosen stone consists of a unique rich and warm tone that duplicates a warm interior for the outdoor space while providing a non-slip surface for families with children and pets to use safely. To further enhance the patio space, we built custom seating walls and planters out of the same natural stone. The planters and seating offer an integrated aesthetic experience to the patio knowing it was custom built to be consistent. The custom seating was designed to provide comfort and invite families to relax, while still maintaining additional seating for gathering. Around the patio, we completed the areas with native plantings that in return provided more color and life while welcoming wildlife to the patio something which our clients especially enjoyed. Our craftsmanship and attention to detail can be seen in spacing and aligning the custom stonework patterns as each piece was intricately laid out. In the end, the resulted in a spacious, tasteful, and beautiful patio that becomes an additional functional space of the home. The landscaping surrounding the space is as aesthetically pleasing and intentional as the patio space. The client expressed their satisfaction with the entire time we worked on the and appreciated how smoothly the execution of the job went.
