Pool Hardscape Expansion with Fire Pit: Absolutely Bushed Landscaping Here is a recent involving a pool hardscape expansion with a custom fire pit we recently completed for a valued customer in the community of Plano, proudly built out by Absolutely Bushed Landscaping. The idea was to increase the time you can spend enjoying the outdoors, as well as have a comfortable space for family and friends to hang out. The first step for our team was to evaluate the existing landscaping and the pool area in order to blend the new hardscape with the surroundings. High-quality materials like resilient pavers and natural stone were chosen, and with a new stylish yet enduring space in mind. Warmth was brought to the whole area through the use of rich earth tones in the pavers, which played up the blue tones of the pool. This area around the pool has a slope which presented us with a few challenges. Our talented crew constructed a tiered hardscape, offering a bit of charm while providing drainage solutions. We included retaining walls, to help retain and stabilize the landscape and also to define areas for lounging and dining. The crowing glory in this included a custom made stone fire pit that blended seamlessly within the hardscape. Not just a conversation piece but also creates warmth & ambiance to welcome you for a night of entertainment. The fire pit area was upgraded with integrated seating so guests can stay warm while watching the pool. The outcome was a beautiful alfresco structure and turned the clients backyard onto a beautiful relaxation zone. The result is far beyond what the homeowner envisioned: an expansive hardscape with materials chosen for the complementing colors, and a fire pit that is inviting and provides just the right setting. They said they were thrilled, calling the space the hub of their home, which would be great for entertaining and creating lasting memories.
