McJilton Landscaping by Glacier View Landscape & Design, Inc. The McJilton , located in the heart of Dacono, is a beautiful example of the work of Glacier View Landscape & Design, Inc. We were tasked with replacing a standard backyard with a beautiful outdoor space that complements the natural landscape and also answered our client's wishes. We started the with a thorough site analysis which helped us to provide the right design to suit the local topography and climate. Some included features integrated was a custom stone patio fabricated from locally quarried flagstone, the perfect fit for outdoor entertainment. We closed the patio in with bright perennial gardens, filled with native plants that can flower in different seasons, providing color and pollinators all year. Drainage at affine ground level was one of the essential aspects we had to tackle to ensure that there was no collection of water since its a sloping land. We skillfully created a series of terraced beds using natural boulders to contain each level and manage water between them. This improvement was not just the aesthetic value but also the creation of a sustainable environment of plants. And a fully automated, back-buried irrigation system that uses just the right amount of water to keep the landscape gentle and luscious. Drip irrigation technology helps to provide water only where it's needed avoiding waste and giving plants a good environment to grow. The end result was a gorgeous landscape that we are proud of and our client too! This practical yet eye-catching blend created a gathering space that was both inviting and relaxing. The McJilton not only added value to the property, but also gave the homeowners an oasis right outside their backdoor which they could enjoy as often as they liked.
