About This Project

Mai Residence Camille Beehler Landscape Design We specialize in creating beautiful retreats for outdoor living. One of our latest endeavors, the Mai Residence, in Newport Beach, is a perfect example of a high-quality, innovative design. The clients envisioned a tranquil coastal garden with colourful plantings that required a complete landscaping re-envisioning. Dozens of native plants, such as California poppies or succulent-type gardens that look nice and save water, adorned the . One of the major difficulties encountered while working on the was traversing the site's steep terrain. The beautiful natural stone retaining walls, made from local stone immediately started to form a series of tiered garden beds, laid by our skilled team. That fixed the problem with soil erosion while also adding a level of vertical complexity to the landscape. The flagstone path we designed meanders through the gardens, encouraging guests to walk through the gardens, observing the variety of plants. Low-profile ornamental grasses line the pathway to softly transition from hardscape to softscape. The outdoor space is centered around a tranquil water feature with a natural stone fountain that creates gentle sounds to complete the perfect ambiance. We chose a diverse selection of flowering shrubs and perennials that are in bloom successive, season by season, to guarantee a glorious view at any time of the year. The end product is a cohesive combination of colour, texture and sound that the client loved and made their outdoor space feel like a private piece of paradise. Every part of the Mai Residence , from the design conception to the final touches, reflects our commitment to craftsmanship and attention to detail.
