Villa Park Retreat Landscape by Camille Beehler Landscape Design An extraordinary testament to the art and science of landscaping, the Villa Park Retreat sits at the heart of Newport Beach. Synergistic blends of natural beauty with extravagant design were imagined and executed by Camille Beehler Landscape Design. The result is an outdoor living area design that uses native drought-resistant plants for both sustainability and aesthetics a win-win for the environment. Natural stone walkways are used to strategically guide visitors through gardens lush with flowers that bloom in waves throughout the seasons, creating a four-season intrigue. Walls made from local elements give the structure stability and well blend with the surrounding. Our list of hurdles included, but are not limited to, sloping terrain. We created tiered garden beds that added visual interest and would afford better drainage, leading to healthier plants. This eco-friendly space also features a brand-new irrigation system that allows every plant to receive the precise amount of water they need with high efficiency and low waste. At the heart of the Villa Park Retreat is a beautiful outdoor living space that includes a bespoke pergola draped with climbing vines to provide sun protection and a sense of coziness for gatherings. The gentle sound of a water feature brings soothing ambience and an opportunity to attract local wildlife while adding another sensory experience to the garden. It is a stunning retreat, and a space for true engagement with nature that goes above and beyond for the client marrying utility and seasonless elegance.
