Waterwise Landscapes Office We are excited to share our most recent for Waterwise Landscapes Incorporated, the concept of the 'Waterwise Landscapes Office,' a beautiful transformation that demonstrates sustainable design while perfectly capturing innovative landscaping strategies. Located in Albuquerque, this highlights our dedication to environmentally friendly practices and water conservation. The office landscape is an expertly curated mix of native plants combined with xeriscaping. The flowering plants are a visual delight, growing comfortably in the local climate while assisting in reduced water use. Drought-resistant plants like desert marigold, blue grama grass, and red yucca were chosen to provide an appealing atmosphere that is not only beautiful but also easy to maintain. Beautiful custom stone pathways made from local flagstone provide access to the grounds while making a statement. A major challenge was the existing topography of different elevations across the site. This required special consideration of drainage and soil stability. Our highly qualified team developed a program of grading and incorporated some rain gardens to improve runoff as well as strengthen the quality of the landscape. To add an extensive and contemporary feel to the design, permeable pavers were chosen. The end result is an attractive balance of aesthetic and practical with seating areas for meetings, interaction, or rest among the colorful blooms and green surroundings. The client was extremely pleased with the 's success and the way the landscape improved the connection to nature in their office. In addition to showcasing Waterwise Landscapes Incorporated’s craftsmanship, this exhibited our goal of increasing sustainable landscaping throughout Albuquerque and surrounding locations including Isleta, Kirtland Afb, North Valley, Paradise Hills, Rio Rancho, Sandia Heights, South Valley, and Los Ranchos de Albuquerque.
