While installating the paths took a great deal of time and thought, it was well worth all the measuring, cutting and leveling prior to placing the stone to create a smooth-flowing pathway through the entire garden area. And we did face some challenges with grading the disturbed area due to being on a slight slope, scheduled to drain well when finished, as that is as much part of building a garden as remaining seated and watered. The end product is a beautiful garden space that invokes conversation and relaxation. The garden was built to include a few seating areas that would be surrounded by a lush and beautiful area, whether simply to bask in the sun, or enjoy with the in friends.
