This significant scope of work entailed a full landscape renovation, which brought luscious plantings, hardscaping, ambient lighting, and water features, generating a delightful setting that can be enjoyed all year. The client was particularly pleased with the newly installed bluestone patio, which utilized local stone and complemented the existing house architecture. The formal and durable finish of the stone caters to an inviting space for entertaining family and friends. On the perimeter of the patio, we designed and installed a variety of native and ornamental grasses to thrive in the local environment and attract pollinators. The colorful combinations of plant selections and seasonal qualities contribute beauty to the landscape. The property had a significant elevation change from the house down to the driveway and lawn. The team engineered terraced garden beds with a natural stone retaining wall system to adapt to the overall topography and create continuity to the space, enhancing accessibility and structure to improve the overall space. A customized irrigation system was designed for the client to promote water efficiency, designed to maximize growth for the new plants and landscaping. To add a layer of use for the newly furnished outdoor living space, our team added ambient lighting to illuminate different features of the landscape and enhance a warm feeling after dark. As a result of the broader landscape renovation, we achieved an impressive outdoor space that met and exceeded our client's needs. The included blending hardscaping with plant material functionally and beautifully. Finally, the detail in our install, design, and choice of materials exceeded the client's needs.
