Garay Residence - Knotty By Nature Landscapes Located in the picturesque Fort Collins, Colorado, the Garay Residence exemplifies the quality craftsmanship and design style that Knotty By Nature Landscapes is known for. This major landscape changed an ordinary space into a picturesque outdoor room with both beauty and functionality. This included a carefully constructed plan, with a variety of native plants that were chosen to grow well in the environment, while also creating value to the ecosystem. The use of quality materials was also of top importance. Durable stone paths and beautiful retaining walls were constructed from boulders sourced locally to provide both structure and beauty. One of the many challenges of the involved the slope of the property. These parts of the required planning and skill to allow for both proper drainage and access. Our team planned for the loping slope by using a tiered garden which brought beauty to the landscape and also moved water away from the house. These quality practices and planning resulted in a beautiful landscape with a fabulous patio space for entertaining and lovely perennial gardens which change color throughout the seasons. Our even included lighting to feature their beautiful space through the evening.
