Towerview - Stack Rock Group: Creative Landscape Architecture from Boise, Idaho The Towerview located in the beautiful foothills of Boise demonstrates the creativity and craftsmanship of Stack Rock Group - Landscape Architecture. This gorgeous residential landscape was designed to blend seamlessly into the natural landscape, all while providing a functional and inviting outdoor space for the home owners. The landscape features a thoughtfully selected palette of native plants that will thrive in the local climate, providing a sustainable solution with hardly any maintenance needed. The visitors are guided through the landscape on beautiful stone pathways made of locally sourced basalt that blends into the ruggedness of the landscape. A unique water feature provides a focal point to visually and audibly enhance the calming experience of the property. One challenge of this was the steep topography. Our team used terracing techniques to effectively stabilize the slope and define the zones for entertaining, relaxing, and gardening. The retaining wall made of natural stone contributed to the visual interest and solved the erosion problem, while being a prominent feature in the landscape design. The culminated in a large patio furnished with comfortable seating and fire pits for gatherings and enjoying the spectacular sunsets across the valley. Permeable pavers were used to help with drainage while still providing cohesion with the landscape. The ended up being a great blend of art and nature, delighting our clients. The Towerview transformed the outdoor space into a vibrant retreat while showcasing Stack Rock Group's commitment to quality, creativity, and stewardship for the environment. The effective use of durable materials combined with thoughtful design will allow the homeowners to enjoy the beauty and enrichment that this landscape offers for years to come.
