This is located in the heart of Severna Park, and delivers on our promise of quality craftsmanship and innovative design, not only in Severna Park but also serves the communities of Brooklandville, Catonsville, Columbia and area. The saw a large multi-level deck built from higher quality and low maintenance composite decking. The deck connected seamlessly to a custom stone patio made from locally sourced flagstone that complimented the environment. They also included a built-in firepit perfect for gathering around, as well as seating areas positioned well for relaxing and to take in the backyard view. This property shared a common issue which was sloping grade. To address this challenge, our team created a tiered design on the property to connect all areas of the while creating interest. Retaining walls were built with natural stone to maintain stability while blending in with the surrounding landscape which created opportunities for distinct areas for dining, lounging and gardening. In addition to the hardscape we also added native plant and ornamental grasses for color throughout the seasons and to encourage local wildlife. We made sure to incorporate outdoor lighting to emphasize the deck and patio to get the most enjoyment day or night. All of our efforts paid off and our clients were more than satisfied. They now had a welcoming outdoor space for entertaining or to just enjoy their time. The combination of hardscaping and softscaping has enhanced their space to be a personal outdoor retreat. Once again Valley Deck and Patio delivers not only on hardscape and softscape but quality workmanship throughout our market area.
