Elkridge 2 Level Patio with Fire Feature Valley Deck & Patio is excited to share the progress of 'Elkridge 2 Level Patio with Fire Feature', a wonderful reinvention of outdoor living that blends function and form in the best way possible. Centered in Elkridge, the utilizes the outdoor space to create an appealing location for relaxation and get-togethers. The construction team worked to design a two-level patio consisting of durable, high-quality pavers, providing a structured space that will not only look beautiful but will last through the elements. The lower level serves as a dining space, framed by plush landscaping and stone borders; the upper patio area serves to be a bit more of a private lounge space that offers an outdoor area in the evening. One of our favorite features of the is the custom firepit, built to be the centerpiece of the patio. The pit is constructed using natural stone with a gas line installed in a manner to provide warmth and light. The fire feature makes the outdoor space usable during the entire year. Each stone was hand-selected to be unique in character, yet still embrace the surrounding landscape. There were challenges with this , such as finished elevations and drainage issues. With some creativity in design and expert craftsmanship, we were able to raise the patio to form a level yet functional outdoor living space that enhances drainage around the foundation, yet maintains the natural character of the yard. The end result is a gorgeous outdoor escape that blew away the client's expectations. The dual elevations, along with the rustic aesthetic of the fire pit, gleam in the landscaping of the space. Every aspect of the captures our commitment to quality working and execution of high-level attention to detail - all these things are validated with the completed !
