Backyard Paradise by Rocky Mountain Outdoor Living At Rocky Mountain Outdoor Living, we pride ourselves on creating innovative backyard spaces that allow for outdoor living to be an extension of your home. "Backyard Paradise," the subject of the , is a clear example of our quality, creativity, and focus on customer satisfaction. Serving our dynamic communities from Acres Green to Franktown, we were excited to partner with a couple in Castle Rock to bring their dream backyard to life. We started with a very informative consultation, where we discussed the homeowners' desire for relaxation and serenity, while seamlessly integrating their backyard oasis into the existing landscape. Our design team developed the plans for a beautiful multi-level patio made with natural flagstone, aimed at providing a smooth transition from the interior living space to the outdoor living area. The outdoor space also included a custom built rustic cedar pergola, providing shade and creating an inviting outdoor gathering space. One of the more complicated aspects of the was the slope of the homeowners' back yard. We navigated that complexity by using locally sourced boulders to create a technical retaining wall system, which then allowed us to create tiers in the back yard for added functionality and elegance, as well as to provide pretend a sense of space. Each tier allowed us to be critical of the plantings in the beds, creating a new sense of for enticing plants of colors, textures, as well as native grass plantings for year round color and texture to provide color and texture during each season, but also to create habitats for local biodiversity. Finally, we included soft landscape lighting in the design to highlight all of the gardens' features while providing beautiful swag and ambiance at night. Additionally, a water feature was integrated within the to produce nice sound and promote relaxation. Backyard Paradise is an incredible terrific outdoor living space that reflected the clients' style and functional needs. Our focus on and quality constructed the kind of outdoor space that did not just meet or exceed the s expectations, it became a lantern in the neighborhood.
