About This Project

Flora Grubb Visit The White Pear LLC, Design & Build, is thrilled to share the Flora Grubb Visit, a landscaping that allowed us to redefine outdoor elegance for our client, in the heart of Oregon. Located in the middle of a vibrant community, this was a complete redesign of the garden space, uniting native plants with modern design. Our team systematically chose drought-tolerant plants, like interesting succulents and colorful perennials, to create a lush yet sustainable environment. In addition to using beautiful local materials, we designed attractive pathways of natural stone and fabricated customized raised garden beds. In addition to these site-specific designs, we had many challenges in the long run, including uneven ground and existing drainage issues. Our solid team of tradespeople and designers tackled this challenge with clever engineering, grading the garden just enough to allow water to flow as intended, while also providing visual richness to the space. Overall the finished product was a beautiful tiered landscape that provides lovely perspectives from all angles. The final piece included creating a cozy seating area amongst the blooms and originated grasses, allowing the client to enjoy quiet days. Every piece of the exemplified quality and attention to detail. From our thoughtfully chosen stones to our selected plants, every piece exceeded even the client's sorry expectations. The Flora Grubb Visit embodies the mission of The White Pear LLC's commitment to craftsmanship and craftsmanship.
