The Hyde-Park Homestead project represents a remarkable transformation of a historic 1890 home in mid-town Kansas City, skillfully adapted into a full-service Air-BnB. Recognizing the potential of this classic property, the homeowner sought our expertise to breathe new life into its existing spaces. Our comprehensive renovation focused on enhancing both functionality and aesthetic appeal throughout the home. In the kitchen, we undertook a thoughtful update that included painting the cabinetry in a fresh, modern hue, complemented by new hardware and fixtures that reflect contemporary design trends. A striking tile backsplash was added, providing a vibrant focal point that elevates the overall ambiance. We also refinished the hardwood flooring throughout the home, restoring its natural beauty and ensuring a cohesive flow from room to room. To enhance the comfort and convenience for guests, we added a brand-new full bathroom on the main floor, which features modern fixtures and finishes that marry functionality with style. The second-floor bathroom received an update with fresh tile, updated fixtures, and new lighting, enhancing its appeal while maintaining a classic charm.
