It is a beautiful and functional exercise specifically designed for this site and all of the topographical challenges that come with it. In order to elevate the residence's breathtaking views, our team developed a multi-layered landscape design touting native Florida plants to ensure sustainability and minimal maintenance. A collection of native, low-water plants like colorful hibiscus, fragrant gardenias and large trees that maintain the form of the cliff overhang but still allows for shade. Soil stability and erosion control on this steep slope was one of the main challenges of this . Using both nature and advanced engineering techniques, our talented team designed a system that utilized boulders and simple rock retaining walls with river rock sourced from near the river banks to create a long-term solution that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. They do functional work, add aesthetic beauty, and connected to nature with combination of natural beauty in the surrounding mountains of the property. Their outdoor qualities were cleverly designed, encouraging users to relax and soak in the beautiful scenery. Off of the home is a custom made deck with responsibly sourced Ipe wood where you will settle in for sunsets and enjoy the wildlife surrounding you. To soften the experience of the deck, we incorporated mass plantings of ornamental grasses and perennial flowers that provide colour throughout the year. Carefully crafted, the lighting design accentuates the property with a stunning nighttime display revealing the architectural , providing both safety and ambience. The end result is a beautiful landscape that fulfills the client's concept, as well as enhances their outdoor experience.
