Rowayton Pool | Coyle & Caron Landscape Architecture Nestled in the center of the pulse of a community in Florida, this Rowayton Pool is a perfect example of the masterful craft and practice of Coyle & Caron Landscape Architecture. This beautiful backyard space was created to work with this particular clients residential space but to also be both a sanctuary for the client and their family and friends. A gorgeous swimming pool has been integrated within the , where stunning landscaping elements coexist with the natural landscape. The landscape includes local and drought tolerant plants chosen for year-round color and texture with low maintenance. Florida-friendly palms, ornamental grasses and flowering shrubs were incorporated to establish a sweep of foliage that merged the prismatic coolness of the pool water with verdant foliage. The terrain of the property posed one of the main challenges. It involved some serious land grading by the team to provide a flat surface for the pool, as well as many natural stone retaining walls. High-quality materials such as travertine pavers and natural stone features are incorporated to increase aesthetic quality and years of service life. It also features a custom waterfall that flows into the pool, adding a sound and visual element to the design. It took a careful engineering design to keep water traveling through this component and the crew did that perfectly so all you're left with is a lovely sound as you spend time outdoors. The finished product is a beautiful landscape that meets and exceeds the vision of the client. Now a much loved community destination, where form meets function and every detail seems to embody the signature craftsmanship of Coyle & Caron Landscape Architecture, the Rowayton Pool has formed a nexus of social activity. This exemplifies the company strength in providing outstanding outdoor living spaces throughout Central Florida from Winter Park to Apopka and beyond.
