In this stunning transitional kitchen remodel, the homeowner transformed a dated space into a modern culinary haven, centered around the elegant new Pebble Grey cabinets. The existing kitchen, characterized by cumbersome soffits and a peninsula that compartmentalized the area, was in dire need of an upgrade. Recognizing that the small eating area was underutilized—given the presence of a dining room just beyond the wall—the homeowner envisioned a more open and functional layout that prioritized both aesthetics and practicality. To achieve this vision, we removed the old cabinetry and the unnecessary peninsula, allowing for a seamless flow throughout the kitchen. The installation of Catalina door-style cabinets in a sophisticated Pebble Grey hue not only enhanced the visual appeal but also expanded the storage capacity, making the kitchen more efficient for daily use. Complementing the cabinetry, we selected a Midnight Thunder granite countertop that adds depth and richness to the design, while the Imperial Bianco Gloss backsplash, measuring 7.5” x 15”, features a clean white grout that brightens the space and ties the elements together beautifully. The project also addressed the home's corner windows, which had remained unchanged. We seized the opportunity to replace them with shorter windows, accommodating standard base cabinets underneath and further maximizing storage options. The result is a cohesive and inviting kitchen that reflects contemporary design trends while maintaining a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This remodel not only fulfills the homeowner's desire for more storage but also creates a stylish environment that is perfect for both cooking and entertaining. The combination of thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship, and carefully chosen materials has culminated in a kitchen that is not only functional but also a true focal point of the home, embodying the essence of modern transitional style.
