The Prairie Village Oriental Inspired Prairie Village Oriental Inspiration Embassy Landscape Group/ EMBASSY LANDSCAPE GROUP An oasis in the middle of Kansas City, it embodies the equilibrium of nature and design. This grand was laid out with great care, and is replete with elements of oriental garden design. At its heart is a koi pond surrounded by stone paths that wind through the greenery. We used local natural stones, that ensure durability, and work well with the surroundings. A full variety of plants were selected to provide interest throughout the entire growing season which include flowering cherry trees, colorful azaleas, and ornamental grasses that undulate in the wind. Bamboo and other water features harmonize the soothing sounds of flowing water to create a peaceful ambiance. A major challenge for the team throughout this was the natural slope of the site where the centre would be built. To respond to the grade, our talented team incorporated a series of terraced beds to serve both the elevation and provide spaces to stop to gather and reflect. We also created a simple irrigation system that would allow all plants to flourish while using the least amount of water possible to ensure sustainability of all plant life. The end result is a stunning garden that has turned the clients house into a tranquil getaway for purposes of leisure and entertainment. Our special touch of high craftsmanship have made the client very happy with a vivacious landscape that not only adds aesthetics to their home but also surrounds them with calm and creativity.
