About This Project

Myers by Reese's Landscape Nursery Located in Jefferson County, West Virginia, the Myers by Reese's Landscape Nursery demonstrates our commitment to quality and design. This entailed a full renovation of the outdoor portion of the property and included a complex design of both hardscape and softscape to enhance both functionality and design. We began with a complete site analysis, identifying challenges within the site, such as unevenness or areas with little sun. The solution to unevenness was a combination of tiered garden beds made from natural stone sourced in the region to add design interest and improve drainage. These beds have a mix of native perennials, along with many ornamental grasses, to provide beauty for four seasons of the year, while still having value to the ecology. The addition of a custom patio made of permeable pavers not only opened up the outdoor space for the Myers family, but also facilitated water to drain and less run off, promoting an environmentally friendly . In addition, a circular fire pit with seating designed around it was added next to the custom patio to enhance family gatherings and evenings. Challenges were faced by our skilled team, such as bad weather and access to the site, but we persevered with our craftsmanship and detail to finish the in time without sacrificing quality. The end result is a space the Myers will enjoy for outdoor living and tranquility that compliments the surrounding natural landscape. The mix of plantings, hardscape, and design is a retreat that they did not know was possible. The Myers is more than just landscaping, it is a union of nature, design and outdoor family living led by Reese's Landscape Nursery.
