Caption: Main Street Nursery Cold Spring Harbor This landscaping right in the heart of Cold Spring Harbor, has some stunning work done by Main Street Nursery, and is a true reflection of the New York Seasons philosophy of excellence, and pushing the boundaries of design. We approached the task with exciting ideas and a design for a beautiful outdoor sitting area, all while integrating the natural elements of the surrounding area and providing a space for Asharoken, Huntington, and other residents. It emphasizes a wide range of native plants that promote biodiversity, a bluestone path made of locally-sourced materials, and a calming water feature that serves as a focal point of the area. Through implementing sustainable practices (to directly compete with the existing invasive species) we made sure that the landscape lasts even with challenges such as uneven terrains. We installed custom wood arbors; crafted by our talented artisans and professionally installed our elegant garden lighting where guests can recline and mingle. The end product enhanced the overall curb appeal of the home, and the homeowner was thrilled with the results, noting how well form and function blended together. End result, this is an affirmation of the quality craftsmanship and effort that Main Street Nursery puts into every endeavor they undertake, helping to improve Cold Spring Harbor, one Garden at a time.
