Travis Heights by Blissful Gardens & Green Dragon Design The Travis Heights is a testament to the incredible craftsmanship and creative design philosophies of Blissful Gardens & Green Dragon Design. With coverage area around Austin, Barton Creek, Hays, and further, this cooperation turned an average yard home into your amazing backyard garden. The comprised a range of native plants and built forms, making certain that whilst the outline only enhances, everything was sustainable. We painstakingly chose drought-tolerant plants including native grass, wildflowers, and mature trees to build a layered landscape that complements the scenery and increases habitat for species that live in the area. The biggest issue they experienced was that the plot of land is on a slope. In response, our designers created a series of beautifully terraced garden beds consisting of stone harvested as close to site as possible that fit naturally into the local terrain. This offered aesthetic appeal, as well as better drainage and soil stability erosion was minimized without sacrificing outdoor usage. We incorporated in a custom built cedar pergola that provides shaded comfort in the backyard for recreational use. A natural stone patio complements this construction, making a space to chill and entertain. The materials were selected not only for their understated rustic beauty, which befits this section of the Travis Heights neighbourhood, but for durability. The finished scene is one of stunning yet serene beauty, a web of paths that beckon you to wander. Our clients were delighted at the change, and complimented our attention to detail and overall finish. The Travis Heights added both visual interest and functional outdoor space, making the property an ideal escape for friends and family.
