Tranquility At a recent neoteric landscaping we recently completed in the Kansas City area for a discerning client, Embassy Landscape Group is proud to introduce 'Tranquility.' This stunning outdoor sanctuary was created with natural materials that echo the beauty of Gladstone, Parkville and Lake Quivira to create serene spaces for relaxation. Our talented horticulturalists chose local plants and low impact materials, providing a natural aesthetic and supporting native vegetation. At the heart of the , a waterfall tumbles down into a koi pond, creating soothing sounds of running water. We inserted a mix of perennials and ornamental grasses to wrap around the pond, providing a colorful tapestry through the seasons. The biggest challenge we had was that the property was a slope and therefore all functional area also needed to be terraced to a way that was not only functional but visually appealing. Using natural stone and reclaimed timber, we created tiered gardens beds to stabilize the earth and encourage movement through and interaction with the landscape. Permeable pavers were also used in pathways, which were adapted to naturally blend in with the surroundings, pedestrian access, and efficient rainwater runoff. The lighting was another important aspect of the . We positioned soft, warm LED fixtures throughout to enhance the garden curiosities and create a magical evening atmosphere. Ultimately, you have a peaceful escape that encourages contemplation or socializationideal for a breezy day or a broken light, with friends or alone.
