Diana Lane A Timeless Transformation by Timothy Lee Landscape Design Located in the heart of Newton, the Diana Lane showcases the talent and experience of Timothy Lee Landscape Design. This landscape renovation was designed to turn a typical yard into a peaceful outdoor oasis. Our team created a curated mix of native plantings, elegant stone paths, and sustainable hardscaping that made sense with the existing architecture. A key feature of the property includes the aesthetic of the seasonal flowering perennials and ornamental grasses, which create visual beauty through each season while supporting local pollinators. Our elegant bluestone patio is the focal point of the outdoor space, providing an optimal area for the family to unwind and entertain. The low-voltage LED lighting was thoughtfully implemented and serves to elevate the beauty of the landscape while extending the usability of the space in the evening. One challenge we faced was the sloped topography of the backyard. We accomplished the goals by creating grading solutions that directed drainage appropriately while maximizing usable space. The skilled and tireless efforts of our crew sculpted the landscape through creating tiered gardens to eliminate drain problems and to provide change in depth and interest to the overall landscape design. The finished product is a stunning landscape delivered to reinvigorate the property and meet our clients' every expectations! It demonstrates a perfect balance of experience and design in creating functional and beautiful spaces, providing an ideal landscape in the Greater Boston area, including Arlington, Cambridge and everywhere beyond.
