Located in Northern Virginia, Landscape Concepts of Fairfax, Inc. recently completed a beautiful landscape design utilizing a suburb home, creating a calming and peaceful outdoor space. Our team serves an array of communities, including but not limited to Alexandria, Arlington, and Falls Church, aimed at beautifying and enriching outdoor spaces. This was a comprehensive design that contained varied qualities, such as a multi-stage garden, a custom stone patio, and a stunning water feature. For this , materials were selected for sustainability and durability and included local materials, such as natural flagstones and reclaimed brick materials. Had long-term considerations in mind to choose appropriate materials for style and sustainability that matched the home. One of the larger challenges of this design was the slope of the property. The allotment was steep enough that grading was certainly a consideration; we explored garden designs that were tiered, to help with erosion and usability of space, all while creating visual interest. Our skilled team even took the time to craft properly functional and aesthetic retaining walls from natural stone boulders. We also contributed native plants and a variety of perennials that would support fauna and minimal upkeep to preserve the environment. Overall, the finished product was stunning and gratifying for homeowners. We successfully designed a space that had visual interest, along with function for family and friends, along with a calming outdoor retreat for relaxation and tranquillity. The enhanced the home's function and brought value with respect to the time and effort put into the materials and craftsmanship.
