About This Project

Location: Front Door Entry & Porch, Mike Ball Irrigation Landscape & Lighting The "Front Door Entry & Porch" from Mike Ball Irrigation Landscape & Lighting transformed both the charm and functionality of the home's entry in Bunker Hill Village. They started with a design vision a welcoming entry filled with lots of visual interest, paired with functional landscaping features that are climate-appropriate. With safety and longevity in mind, the design called for a well-constructed promenade of non-slip flagstone. In a series of bold color bursts along the path, perennial flower beds baked full sun, a combination of azaleas and daylilies that bloom throughout the seasons to keep our garden expertly visual. And soft landscape lighting was incorporated to light the way and showcase the verdant foliage to beckon guests after sunset. The slope of the ground presented a challenge which needed to be addressed through grading so that the water does not drain back to the porches. We created a complex drainage system that solved this problem while also functioning within the overall design and left our talented team to implement the system effectively. The end product was nothing less than jaw-dropping. Its new entryway did not only boost the curb appeal of the property but made the owners a new way to enjoy their mornings peacefully. What was expressed in delightful clients' feedback as "a beautiful functional balance" truly captured the quality standards that Mike Ball Irrigation Landscape & Lighting is known for across the Greater Houston area, featuring the likes of Cinco Ranch, Katy and The Woodlands.
