Does best in Virginia, The Carolinas, Georgia, Florida, and Alabama. Requires little care. Water only when necessary. For additional plants, divide perennial clumps in spring or fall after 2 or 3 years of flowering. Store seed in cool, dry place. Heat and moisture can severely reduce germination.
