First Use:

• Remove cartridge packaging, grip the top of the cartridge, and place it into the cartridge holder.
• Firmly press in the cartridge until it forms a secure seal.

The oil-free vacuum pump is compatible with any size freeze dryer, offering quiet, fast, and user-friendly operation. Harvest Right's oil-free vacuum pumps eliminate the need for oil changes and regular maintenance by users. Please note that the oil-free pump is not included as standard with a new freeze dryer order. However, you have the option to upgrade to the oil-free pump for $1495 at the time of purchasing your freeze dryer. For existing customers with older model freeze dryers, an adapter is required to use the oil-free vacuum pump. 

The new Premier Pump seldom requires oil changes or filtration due to its gas ballast feature, ensuring water doesn't accumulate in the oil. Oil remains pristine even after 30 or more batches, typically needing replacement after 20 or more batches. In contrast, the Standard Vacuum Pump necessitates oil changes and filtration every 4 or 5 batches. Use only Robinair Premium High Vacuum Pump Oil or JB Industries Black Gold Vacuum Pump Oil.
