Description
With patented technology, the LYOHM System is able to utilize a unique type of fog, referred to as Semi-Dry Fog®, which can help in humidification. In cooling, it can lower ambient temperature in areas between 3 and 5 degrees Celsius. This system is currently directed to shielded outdoors and semi enclosed sheltered areas because its evaporative cooling does not alter the environment positively or negatively. It is useful outdoors, as it doesn’t restrain people nor hurt the environment.
The aim of the LYOHM system is quite different from typical mist systems which avoid surface wetting. This allows the system to cool people, animals, and sensitive equipment directly positioned under the device. This technology works for the mitigation of urban heat islands (UHI), averting heat strokes, and public comfy without climate irresponsibility.
Working Principles of the Semi-Dry Fog Technology
Semi-Dry Fog® makes up the LYOHM System, and comprises particles with 10-30 μm in size and these droplets cool the air without moistening it. Semi Dry Fog is not “dry mist” because it can retain homogeneity in the fog field which dry mists can’t keep.
This fogging system soaks up liquid through a nozzle and does not require air compression due to the weather sealed outer covering. The casing withstands intense heat and cold requiring very little upkeep while maintaining easy functionality for a sustained period of time.
Key features
- Semi-Dry Fog® is produced by a hydraulic cooling and humidification system.
- No surface wetting while below ambient temperature by 3-5°C.
- Movable, serving the public and industrial sectors.
- Contributing to the urban heat island syndrome (UHI) and preventing heat-stroke.
- Static charge humidity suppression, frost, and dust capturing.
- Corrosion resistant.
- Comprehensive site survey, system design, installation, and tailored construction support.
- Responsible for environmental concerns due to low power usage.
The system reliably maintains comfort, and safety, making it ideal for cities, rural suburban regions, agricultural areas, and remote locations. Modular LYOHM quickly adapts to the operational needs while defending against growing threats of high temperature extremes.
Industries and Areas of Concentration
Urban Cooling and Community Cooling
- Applied at shopping malls and bus stations and waiting areas as well as Train, ferry and airport terminals equipped with direct-person cooling at the corridors and entrance.
- Offsets heat stroke in the school buildings at playgrounds, connecting corridors, tented sport spaces, and zoned roofs.
- Improves customer satisfaction at amusement parks, zoos, aquariums, and botanical gardens by cooling foliage-rich areas, façades, and entrances as well as queuing areas.
Agriculture and Livestock Cooling
- Cools open spaces and external walls of barns as well as chicken coops, pig pens, and stables.
- Shields animals and workers from overheating, fatigue, loss of appetite, and decreased productivity.
- Aids in managing decreased milk yield in dairy facilities during extreme summer temperatures.
- Decreases airborne and dust pollutants in feedlots, livestock enclosures, and dairy barns.
Sports & Entertainment
- Cools off-peak spectator seating, athlete rest zones, and waiting areas in stadiums, courts, golf courses, and martial arts dojos.
- Provides shaded comfortable recliners during athletic contests and racecourses.
Commercial
- Protects pieces of equipment from overheating during high intensity operations like ironing and stain removal.
- Optimal temperature control in buffets, food shelves, and fresh food counters to prevent food spoilage.
- Aims to remove dry air static charge build up in retail shops and restaurant dining areas
Presentations and Show Effects
- Use in forming fog screens for video projections
- Enhances fog and illusion in multiple stag exhibits, displays, and set pieces
Final Words
The LYOHM System solves the problems of increasing heat in agriculture, public infrastructure, and entertainment areas. This system solves evaporative cooling and thermal discomfort in a dry environment without soaking people or objects, thereby making it a multipurpose trim-eco technology.
In addition, the LYOHM System mitigates urban heat island (UHI) effects in cities. It enables precise scaling of temperature and humidity control responsive to today's climate challenges. Cooling animals in barns and controlling temperatures at outdoor arenas during events is now feasible.
