Garbage Enclosure by Back to Nature Home & Garden The latest addition we've recently completed for one of our clients in beautiful Basking Ridge is the 'Garbage Enclosure' transformati... The objective was to design a solution that combine morphological functionality with pleasing visual appearance, whilst integrating itself well within the existing landscape and hiding the waste management area from the public eye. A custom enclosure built from all cedar which is long lasting and naturally resistant to rot. Not only that, but this choice will thus preserve your patio for a long time and bring a classic and rustic touch that harmonizes with the environment. The slatted design helps to ensure air circulation within the enclosure, thus preventing nasty odors while giving it a sleek look. The first significant difficulty we had to overcome was the highly uneven ground of the site, needing careful leveling and grading to achieve a solid base for the structure. Using creative solutions, our team was able to overcome these topographical challenges to create an enclosure that was both functional and aesthetically pleasing. We also included thick native planting around the enclosure to soften its hard edges and add to the landscape. Not only did this create their natural buffer, it also encouraged local biodiversity and tied back to the rewilded ethos we were trying to cultivate. The end product was a well constructed garbage bin enclosure that serves the practical needs of the client while also improving the quality of their outdoor space. The end result was a very delighted client who walked into the new space and absolutely loved the thoughtfulness and level of detail that Back to Nature Home & Garden is known for.
