Used Barn Pool House The 'Reclaimed Barn for a New Pool House' by Back to Nature Home & Garden showcases the perfect marriage of rustic and modern elegance. Tucked away into the rolling hills of Bedminster, this showcases our dedication to craftsmanship and finishes. Central to this is a historic barn, sourced from nearby farms and repurposed as a chic pool house. The barn wood was gently reclaimed and treated to reflect its original grain while bringing a richness of character to the space. We surrounded the pool house with an elegant natural stone patio that complements the rustic but provides a durable and slip resistant surface for entertainment and relaxation. We imagined the feeling of being in a colorful landscape of flowering perennials and native plants well adapted to the local climate. Not only does this create a great splash of color at different times of the year but it also enhances the diversity of species and helps local wildlife. The grasses and shrubs have been hand-picked to line the pool area; this is a tranquil oasis encouraging you to linger a little longer. One of the more complicated components of the was ensuring proper drainage around the pool house, particularly given the sloped area leading up to its footing, requiring some creative grading. To tackle this challenge, our experienced team installed a complex drainage system that directs water away while retaining the natural shapes of the land. The culmination is a stunning retreat, easy on the eye, easy on the senses. Together, the barn, natural stone patio, and well-planned landscaping create a welcoming spot for family gatherings or summer celebrations. Our customer was overjoyed with the results and was living with their one-of-a-kind outdoor living space that strikes the perfect balance between beauty and comfort.
