This stunning install turns a once-stark backyard into a peaceful oasis that seamlessly integrates nature and design. At the heart of this is a carefully constructed recirculating stream and waterfall intended to add peace and flow to the outdoor space. Our terrazzo team used natural stone from local quarries to design cascading waterfalls that flow softly into a random stream, imitating the sounds of nature in a most beautiful way. Thoughtfully chosen native plants like ferns and water lilies can beautify a space and support local ecosystems. There were challenges along the way our team had to work through such as uneven site conditions and existing drainage problems. Our landscape architects were creative with these solutions, using terracing and artistic boulders for both function and beauty. Energy efficient pumps ensures trouble free operation of the water feature while having the minimal impact on the environment. It results in a beautiful visual experience activated for sound sense and a place of retreat for the owner and their guests.
