Greensboro: Shady Stone Stairs Shady Stone Stairs Greensboro New Garden Landscaping & Nursery Situated in the center of Greensboro this consisted of beautiful stone steps designed to effectively create safe access and traversing through a beautiful garden area while helping the overall landscape. Our steps were made with durable slate stones that were locally sourced so our skilled craftsmen will blend in with the surrounding greenery, and have a natural look that will match with already existing plants. The materials used not only increase the aesthetic beauty but also ensure durability which will stay for years to come. The garden is on quite a slope, so we had to be very careful how we planned out the construction to make it as stable and structurally sound as possible. With professional grading and drainage techniques to keep erosion at bay, this solid foundation is engineered to stand up to not just the weight of the stone itself but also the elements. Additionally, the scope of the featured the installation of set landscape lighting along the stairs to create a warm, inviting, and visible location at night. Also incorporated into the stair system were native plants for splashes of additional color and habitat for local wildlife. Our client was thrilled with the end result, taking an unused space and creating a beautiful avenue that begs the question, why drive when we can walk?
