Our experienced team used drought-tolerant plants to establish a lush yet water-conscious environment, and their work will flourish in New Mexico's dry environment. Noteworthy aspects of this included a broad xeriscape planting area with vibrant annual desert blooms and clusters of boulders thoughtfully placed to mirror the natural landscape of the Sandia Mountains. Another challenge presented by this site was the contemplation of varying elevations, requiring grading and tiered planting beds to create housing and drainage while keeping a visual static layer. We worked collaboratively with the client to include a winding stone path through the entire , which adds accessibility and encourages the participants to move through the field of various plants. In addition to these creative landscape aspects, the quality of materials was very significant to this . We incorporated locally quarried stone to establish the retaining walls and paths. This ensured durability and also ties in complimentary aesthetics to the condition of the lot. In addition, a draught tolerant drip irrigation system was incorporated into the landscape, minimizing water waste and effectively watering as many plants as possible.
