===Tides Patio // Aedan Workshop=== Located in the very space that Aedan Workshop crafts and nurtures its impact in this beautiful community, Tides Patio demonstrates our excellence in landscape design. This outdoor oasis was designed to complement the functionality of the space and provide visual beauty for the client who lives in Cary [a beautiful town itself]. The Lookout Patio showcases a grand flagstone terrace with stonemason craftsmanship to maximize natural appearance and free-flowing layout, reminiscent of a beachfront hideaway. Using stone from local sources will not only prove sustainable over time but also match the environment perfectly with the rustic atmosphere, that invokes relaxation and gathering. We decided to surround the patio with a lush mix of native species ornamental grasses and flowering perennials that could thrive under the dry, hot conditions, providing a changing sequence of flowers and foliage throughout the seasons. The site had a lot of slope to deal with, one of the major hurdles the faced. It was our challenge to grade the land while ensuring that the natural beauty of the landscape would be conserved along with the drainage. So not only did this reinforce the footings for the patio, which were pretty significant, but it also helped minimize the chance for water to be an issue, which shows our level of detail and quality. And if those features weren't enough to get one outdoors, we added a custom-designed fire pit and seating around it for cooler evenings spent outside gazing at the stars. Some outdoor lighting, a few strategically placed lights can warm up the patio, and can even help you to use it longer at night. For the Tides Patio , the client was absolutely blown away with the final result, and it opes as their very own sanctuary for entertaining or relaxing after a long day. The symphony of natural elements, care in design and attention to detail in craft are a testament to Aedan Workshop's love of accessible art in the landscapes we craft for our clients' enjoyment for years to come.
