Andrews Residence Today we celebrated the completion of the 'Andrews Residence' landscaping in downtown Apex and so proud to present it to you via the Aedan Workshop. This effort was not simply a formality, but rather an opportunity to exercise our professional dedication to a product quality and finishing one that allows the property to shine on its own terms but also fulfill the specific needs of the homeowners. At the heart of the was a beautiful hardscape component, complete with paver paths that lead residents and visitors through the rich garden beds. We took advantage of quality local materials complementing the surrounding atmosphere and ensuring its longevity, such as natural stone borders and permeable pavers which allow drainagean absolute must for the unpredictable storms of the area. Our backyard had a problem; it was incredibly steep, and this created issues with regard to drainage and launching ourselves down the backyard. We creatively solved this in our designs with tiered garden beds that are now made into retaining walls with natural stone that almost blends into the landscape. It was not only a nice aesthetic visual context, but also a functional solution that is now a stunning centerpiece. The selections of plants were more like a collection of native flora that can bloom in the local weather conditions. We designed with year-round blooms to make it aesthetically pleasing all year while also supporting wildlife with flowering plants, shrubs, and ornamental grasses. The end result is a bright, sustainable garden with low maintenance that the homeowners can enjoy without spending too much time continuously maintaining it. The changes to the Andrews Residence were nothing short of stunning once finished. They were thrilled with their landscape transformation, which they said improved the value of their home and gave them a lovely outdoor space they could use whenever they had family, or wanted to simply sit back and relax.
