We used flagstones with warm colored tones which add to the beauty and will withstand the coastal environment for many years. A significant component of this was a custom-made fire pit, crafted from natural stone material, that not only is safe and beautiful but can also sustain the rigors of the elements. The fire pit has a heavy-duty steel insert to allow for warmth and ambiance when families gather in the evening. The seating surrounding the fire pit is conducive to conversation, camaraderie, and relaxation. Also built around the seating is LED lighting creating an enchanting effect after dark. During our time in this yard, we came up against some challenges, such as uneven surfaces and inadequate drainage, but our skilled team overcame every setback through proper grading or landscape solutions. Plants were incorporated into the plan including some native plants and deciduous plants, to soften the hardscape and create a natural balance that invites nature into the design. When completed, the was an exquisite outdoor space that exceeded the client's expectations. The beautiful patio and inviting fire pit with incredible landscaping changed the use of their backyard and became the gathering place for the family and friends.
