East by Old World Brick Paving The "East ," performed by Old World Brick Paving, displays the artistic creativeness and craftsmanship that are the essences of how we approach landscaping. Location: Elmhurst - area: - over 3,000 square feet of inclusion. Our first step was to access the landscape of what needed to be brought back to life. Beautifully combine permeable pavers with natural stone pathways enhancing drainage in your outdoor space, which creates a great contrast against all the lush plants in the area. With sustainable native plantings added to the landscaping to conform with the area's ecological design. One issue we encountered was the land wasn't level and needed grading for a uniform surface to work with. Painstakingly each layer of stone and soil was required to be placed in the correct order for stability and long-term success. The final result creates an inviting outdoor space with a multi-functional patio on which to entertain guests. The brick bench type seating walls, now have an elegant nature with a locally sourced bricks which was a functional aspect of the design. The tranquil water feature was an added touch that created a sense of tranquility which is enjoyed every time the homeowner and guests use the surrounding area. The curb appeal ultimately elevated the property but what is also important is the monetary increase in the value of the residential home and all is construed around the great quality of work Old World has produced for so many others. With our craftsmanship in detail, what we value are the sustainable materials we use in each and of course the joy of the homeowners when they see their vision come to life in front of them with their new landscaping .
