Jackson Redefining Outdoor Space with Old World Brick Paving Old World Brick Paving completed the breathtaking Jackson in the heart of a vibrant neighborhood, a complex landscaping that once again redefined the outdoor space for our clients. Old World Brick Paving, serving the greater Chicago area, also known as your unique landscape provider, has once again proven it can get the job done. The Jackson consisted of hardscaping and softscaping design and integration. The hardscape of this patio was custom designed and built out of some of the finest, hand-selected, brick pavers, representing the esteem of past architectural craftsmanship. In addition to beauty, the varying shapes and designs of the pavers will continue to stand the test of time and weather. One of the most unique design features of this was the introduction of a winding pathway that lead guests through the ever-changing garden that included native plants selected for minimal maintenance and seasonal interests. The path design required defeatng a slight grading issue with several curves, allowing utility and eye-pleasing function. To achieve this unique design, we used numerous decorative boulders, decorative gravel and landscape plants to soften the design and provide stability. Ambient lighting was incorporated to create atmosphere for gatherings while enhancing the beauty of features. The completion of this provided a decorative and pristine outdoor space that reflects and intersects beauty, functionality, and sustainability. The Jackson represents the quality of work we at Old World Brick Paving will continue to provide for our clients. Our clients expressed their excitement for receiving exactly what they envisioned in a transformed outdoor space; a space to enjoy hosting friends or simply taking a moment in solace amongst nature.
