About This Project

Granada Park by Ross Garden Design Located in the center of Jacksonville, the Granada Park showcases nature and design by Ross Garden Design. For this large-scale landscape , we aimed to design a place of calm where the community could come together for recreational purposes while serving as a beautiful focal point in neighborhood. The includes a variety of species of landscaping, including selections of native plants, that provide habitat for birds and insects in addition to thriving in the local climate. A beautiful water feature was constructed that includes a waterfall and koi pond to further enrich the aural and visual aspects of the park. An intentional flagstone path made from locally-sourced stone will lead visitors around the water feature and into a colorful garden filled with fragrant shrubs and pollinator-friendly flowers. One of the substantial facets of the park was the challenges associated with the changes in topography. With Ross Garden Design's approach to landscape design, tiered planting beds and walls were incorporated into the design to provide stability and visual appeal. High-quality and sustainable materials were used throughout the design, from permeable pavers in the walking paths to plants that enhanced drainage and decreased runoff. The result was a beautiful landscape that both the client and community were impressed with. Granada Park is now a popular meeting place for families and friends, promoting beautiful outdoor activity and community involvement. With the gorgeous visuals and sister designs in mind, Ross Garden Design has created a remarkable public space that embodies all that Jacksonville's inhabitants valued nature. The exemplified quality and innovation in our approach to landscape design and remains a stunning example of our legacy to this community.
