Pablo Creek Residence Located in the heart of Jacksonville, the Pablo Creek Residence by Ross Garden Design is the perfect marriage of art and function in landscape architecture. This landscape renovation transformed the outdoor area into a peaceful retreat reflective of the homeowner's aspirations. At the core of the was the creation of a multifunctioning garden that compliments the natural surroundings. With a sprawling palette of native plants, the design offers both beauty and local biodiversity. The plant selection utilized flowering shrubs, perennials, and ornamental grasses to guarantee impressive color throughout the seasons. A major challenge was the steep slope of the property which complicated the design and presented a significant erosion risk that needed to be balanced with inviting landscape aesthetics. Ross Garden Design leveled terraces out of locally sourced natural stone not only to mitigate erosion, but also to provide an inviting landscape experience that engaged the yard while adding visual interest and elevation. A dramatic water feature was incorporated into the design in the form of a custom pond, adding a unique focal point and calming dimension. Well positioned, the pond creates a relaxing space surrounded by lush foliage, while attracting neighborhood wildlife. The sound of flowing water allows sensory exploration, encouraging the family to enjoy their outdoor experience. To accommodate outdoor entertaining a spacious gathering area was designed using a durable paver, providing a space for multiple guests to enjoy. Complemented by lighting on the patio, the landscape transitions beautifully from day to night, allowing the family to enjoy time together outdoors. The final outcome created an astonishing outdoor refuge truly reflective of the homeowners’ lifestyle and interests. Wholly invested onto aesthetics, detail of materials, and design centered on the homeowner, Ross Garden Design ensured quality in a landscape alive with friend and family connection, elevating the home to a true outdoor landscape destination.
