Contemporary Patio by Old World Brick Paving Located amidst suburban elegance, the 'Contemporary Patio' by Old World Brick Paving is a stunning example of modern style combined with functional outdoor living. The was completed in the bustling community of Elmhurst with the goal of creating an open space for family gatherings and relaxation. Per the client's vision, our team successfully designed a large patio that would allow for easy transition into the surrounding landscape. Classy, high-quality porcelain tiles were installed to achieve a sleek look that complements the current architecture style of the home. Additionally, a custom fire pit made from natural stone was included to serve as a visual and functional centerpiece for evening gatherings. One challenging aspect of the was the slope of the backyard. Therefore, extensive grading and drainage were required. Our skilled crew attentively crafted a drainage system that allows water to pass through the patio slab while ensuring structural integrity. We further enhanced the patio space with beautiful landscaping. Native plantings were added around the patio that complemented the landscaping and provided an attractive combination of color and texture. LED light fixtures were added and strategically hidden to create an inviting ambiance when using the patio at night. Overall, our client's were pleased with the quality of work and attention to detail in this .
