New Entry Landscape New Entry Landscape by Charles Godfrey Landscape Architects, Inc.: The national award for landscape design went to 'New Entry Landscape' which has turned the entrance of a residential land lot, into a perfect combination of beauty and utility. Covering diverse locales from Arcadia to Spartanburg to Asheville, we focused on developing a landscape that not only improves curb appeal but one that truly represents the vision of the client. Carefully planned steps which lead you to a glorious entryway coupled with freshly blooming perennial flowers and ornamental grasses along the path. We used stone from the area for the pathway a low-maintenance option that looks great in this location. The use of warm-color lighting fittings adds to the atmosphere in the evening light, making guests feel at home. Something the guys grappled with was ground leveling, which at most points can be a nightmare, and used some walls to straighten out the land around the coin. Our talented tradesmen performed these duties with precision and added both structural soundness and visual aesthetics. Native trees are cleverly positioned to provide not only stature, but shade, making the entrance welcoming year-round. The client was extremely happy with the final outcome as it is now a perfect example for client nature as well as architecture which created an enhanced value for the property.
