Texas Cedar Landscape Natural Wonders Landscaping At Natural Wonders Landscaping, every endeavor exemplifies artistry and craftsmanship, as can be seen in the Texas Cedar Landscape located in the heart of Houston. From Baytown to West University Place, we work in all kinds of neighborhoods, and our team recently got to work on turning a suburban property into a peaceful oasis that complements the beauty of Texas. This offered up an exquisite range of materials that were integrated on site, including Texas Cedar, that provided a rustic yet elegant touch to the . Among the landscaping are thoughtfully laid out paths and steps made of natural stone with native, drought resistant and attractive plantings. We chose a variety of ornamental grasses and perennial flowering plants that bloom year after year, so that there is interest in the landscape throughout the growing season. The slope of the property presented one of the biggest challenges, calling for unique grading and the use of retaining walls to help form moderate-grade fields for the planting beds. These walls, made of weather-resistant stone, are functional yet decorative elements of the landscape. A uniquely designed patio with pavers ideal for entertaining or enjoying quiet evenings under the stars is the centerpiece of the custom-built outdoor living area of the Texas Cedar Landscape. Outfitted with built-in seating, a fire pit and an exterior glass railing, this space is designed as a peaceful retreat, directly off the home and within a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living. Needless to say, the clients were ecstatic with the result after it was finished. As a result of the care taken in design and execution of sustainable principles for the , the curb appeal of their property was transformed, and they began to take pride in their yard!
